These Terms & Conditions govern all projects and services provided by Hoohaa Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”) to clients (“you”). By proceeding with a project, you agree to these terms. We’ve kept this as straightforward as possible.
Our Services
Hoohaa Snap / Hoohaa Studio provides video production, social media management, digital advertising (Facebook Ads, Google Ads), website design, and digital campaign management services for businesses in Malaysia.
The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for your project will be outlined in a written proposal or project agreement sent before work begins. Work does not commence until the proposal is agreed upon and the deposit is received.
Payment Terms
- A 30%-50% deposit is required before any work begins
- The remaining 50%-70% is due upon delivery of the final file(s) or before project launch
- Payment is accepted via bank transfer to DSW LEGACY SDN.BHD
(1436982-V) (our parent company) registered business account - Invoices are issued at deposit stage and final delivery stage
- Projects on hold for more than 30 days due to client delays may require a re-scheduling fee
- Late payment (beyond 14 days from invoice date) may incur a 1.5% monthly fee
Revisions & Changes
Every video project includes 2 revision rounds at no additional charge. A revision round means a consolidated set of changes submitted at one time — not individual back-and-forth requests.
Additional revision rounds beyond the 3 included are charged at RM 500-800 per round for social media videos and 30% from total price per round for corporate or brand videos.
Changes to the approved script or storyboard after the shoot day has taken place may require a re-shoot, which will be quoted separately.
Content Ownership
Upon receipt of final payment, you own the final delivered video file(s) in full. You may use them for any commercial purpose without restriction.
Hoohaa Snap / Hoohaa Studio retains the right to use your project in our portfolio, website, and social media unless you request otherwise in writing before the project begins.
Raw footage (unedited clips) remains the property of Hoohaa Snap / Hoohaa Studio unless a separate raw footage licence is agreed upon in writing.
Cancellations
If you cancel a project after work has begun:
- The deposit is non-refundable
- Any work completed beyond the deposit value will be invoiced and is due for payment
If Hoohaa Snap / Hoohaa Studio is unable to complete a project for reasons on our end:
- A full refund of all payments will be issued within 7 business days
Liability
Hoohaa Snap is not liable for:
- Business outcomes, sales results, or advertising performance arising from delivered content
- Delays caused by late client feedback, unavailable talent, location access issues, or circumstances outside our control
- Third-party platform changes (e.g. Facebook algorithm changes, YouTube policy updates) that affect content performance
Our liability is limited to the value of the project fee paid.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through direct communication. If unresolved, disputes will be referred to the appropriate Malaysian legal jurisdiction.
